Do you sometimes wish that you were out there in the fresh air and sunshine on a bright mid-summer morning, enjoying the view, exchanging impressions about the scenery with interesting people and walking gently in the breeze to a well-deserved wine-tasting "apéro" down by the shores of a deep blue lake?
I suppose you do, like the rest of us do when we drive, or commute by train, past Lavaux vineyards on our way to work or simply travelling through, without even stopping on our way!
Well, on this special morning, we were the lucky ones! Here I was, guiding a group of 17 Japanese guests, strolling from the Chexbres train station (www.chexbres.ch), up to my secret view point and all the way down to Rivaz (www.rivaz.ch) where we were welcomed as usual by the enthusiastic team of the Vinorama (www.lavaux-vinorama.ch).
Here are a few pictures of the event. And remember: YOU could be the next group to join us in a walk through Lavaux UNESCO world heritage (www.lavaux-unesco.ch)!
Well-equipped ladies and gentlemen getting to the view point:
Grapes are ripening!
In Rivaz, follow the signs to discover the Chasselas conservatoire (www.domainebovard.com).
At the Vinorama (www.lavaux-vinorama.ch) (can you see it?)
Here's a photograph inspired by 1970 photography style (as I remember it!-)
And finally, a typical shot of the view over the village of Rivaz:
See you soon!
